Holds First Annual Crash &#038; Crime Mapping Summit"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6><span data-contrast=\"none\">By\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">K Carley, 10\/03\/18 (updated 2\/20\/24)<\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Laser Technology has completed a successful Crash and Crime Mapping Summit held at its headquarters September 24-25, 2018. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">LTI&#8217;s team of mapping professionals consisting of retired and active police officers attended the event to provide crucial market feedback, learn about and receive training on products and solutions, and to ensure they are prepared with all the equipment and software necessary to best serve our customers.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>A Summary of the Crash and Crime Summit<\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Key Note address delivered by Michael Allard entitled &#8220;Laser Technology &amp; Unmanned Aircraft&#8221; was the highlight of the event. Michael is the owner of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/forensicdiagram.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Northeast Diagramming Services<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0as well as a current law enforcement officer with nearly 30 years of experience in crash and crime mapping. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">His presentation included real-world use cases and an outdoor drone flight demonstration which would later be merged together with ground measurements at the end of the address. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The presented material covered the importance of complementary equipment in the field, the pros and cons of drone usage in crash and crime mapping scenarios, and how to use drone imagery with ground measurement data to create the foundation for dynamic and comprehensive scene diagrams for court.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_9568\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9568\" class=\"wp-image-9568\" src=\"https:\/\/lasertech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Crash-Crime-Mapping-Summit-live-demo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"327\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lasertech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Crash-Crime-Mapping-Summit-live-demo.jpg 640w, https:\/\/lasertech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Crash-Crime-Mapping-Summit-live-demo-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-9568\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Live demonstrations from LTI&#8217;s Crash and Crime Mapping Summit<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\"><em>&#8220;Everything was extremely well planned, organized, and executed.
