Safety on the roads is incredibly important. Over 100 people die every day in traffic crashes<\/strong> due to speeding<\/a>, distracted driving<\/a> and driving while under the influence. Not only do you put yourself at risk, but you also put everyone else on the roads at risk.<\/p>\n

During the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an increase in speeding across the country<\/strong><\/a>. With less people on the road, drivers are driving at dangerous speeds. Along speeding, there has also been an increase in impaired driving during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

Sheriff Whetsel has a touching personal story that is one of the reasons behind his passion for traffic safety. He has spent his career advocating for safer roads.<\/p>\n
